Photo friends

Last Saturday a good friend of mine was in town from England. We met at photography school here in the USA. It was so great to catch up with her. It sounds like she is doing some amazing things over there across the sea. It was inspiring to just talk photography with her and another friend who came with to catch up. I am starting on a path of rediscovering my photographic personality. Meaning I want to get excited about ALL aspects of photography again and experiment more. I think all photographers need these moments of talking shop to get excited again and I should be doing it much more often.

Maple Grove Autumn Art Fair

This art fair went famously! I was able to make some sales and meet some new fans. It as with all the art shows was a fair bit of work to get ready for and set up at the show. But I enjoy it. This was probably the last show for the season. Soon it will be time to start applying for next summer. Thanks to everyone who visited my booth.

Really? This is my first post?

Wow. It has taken me over a year to actually write a post for my blog. Admittedly I am the very worst of procrastinators. I also sort of forgot that I had signed up for a blog. But I'm here now. Currently I am working on getting my photography website finished, figuring out and starting my etsy shop and preparing for an art show September 18-20. As for me more personally I am in my twenties, married, and preparing to buy our first house. Exciting times. Hopefully I will maintain things a bit more and start posting and making this blog as wonderful as all those I keep finding daily. Stay tuned.
