I loved the variety of poses she has in this book. She makes it look super easy to pose curvy women in a flattering way. Which after reading her tips I hope I find it that easy in the next session I do. Her tip for hand placement so a large bust doesn't move toward the face was super easy but very effective and one that I will file away for future use. I think overall this was a great read for those pursuing this niche.

Loved this book
Boudoir Photography Cookbook by Jennifer Rozenbaum was excellent. This book is full of amazing images covering a wide variety of lighting and posing styles. Each image has a diagram for how it was made and the settings used. I'm always a fan of this. All of the women have very different looks but all of them have the same confident feel that Jen stands for. I'm excited to try out some of her 'recipes'. I think I'll be going back to this book often for inspiration.

Nudes On Location by Bill Lemon
This book has good tips for photographing nudes outdoors such as bringing a carpet sample for the model to sit on if need be. It has posing suggestions and lighting tips as well. Not all of the photographs are fully nude either. Many of them use partial nudity with clothing or just pieces of fabric draped around the model. There are some very lovely, classic photographs in this book.

The Big Book of Glamour By Richard Young
Sunday, December 6, 2015
There is definitely a ton of info in this book. There are 200 tips just like the cover says and they cover pretty much everything from working with nude models to lighting to the business side of things and a bunch more. Almost all of the tips can be applied to other areas of photography as well but the book is geared toward nude photography.

500 Poses for Photographing Full Length Portraits by Michelle Perkins
Thursday, December 3, 2015
Of course there are some great images in this book. I think it'd be great for when you feel like you're in a posing rut and need some inspiration. It covers a lot of different portrait areas too. It has bridal, vintage, senior, mens, glamour, maternity, etc. It doesn't include kids but she has a whole other book for that anyway. There is a section at the back on basic posing guidelines as well and bios on all the photographers.

Stylish Weddings By Kevin Jairaj
The images in this book are absolutely stunning. I am truly blown away by this guy's talent. He talks about the story behind each image and how it was made. He also has some great ideas for fine tuning some of the typical shots like rings to make them stand out and coming up with just plain fun images of the wedding day. It was a quick read too which is always nice.

Book Review
The Essential Photography Workbook -The Beginner's Guide to Creating Impressive Digital Photos by Stephen & Joan Dantzig
This is a very in depth book definitely geared for the beginner. I liked that he went back to how film works and explains that first before talking about digital. He includes 45 detailed assignments to help you understand what he is talking about. I think this would be very helpful to the beginner. Excellent place to start if you have no or very minimal photo knowledge.
